Research on Words and Phrases in Stereotyped Expressions of Voucher in the Contract in Uygur

The contract in Uygur is one kind of a great variety of Uygur literature, of which the structure of content, style of writing and choice of words are quite similar to the form and stereotyped expressions of the contract in Chinese excavated in Turpan and Dunhuang. Quite a number of technical vocabularies are also borrowed or translated from Chinese in the contract in Uygur. One of the examples is paošïn “保人” (surety), tanuq “见人” (eyewitness), körüp olurɣuči “临坐” (person present) appeared in the sentences which are expressed in the names of surety and voucher.
