Mountains in Life and Conscious of Kyrgyz People and
Language Nominations of Notions Connected with Them

Kyrgyzstan is a mountainous country. 85% of its territory are mountains, the valleys between them inhabited; in other words the whole life of the nation is connected with mountains. Therefore in the Kyrgyz language there are many nominations related to mountains and landscape. Snow-white tops with glaciers and drains of the rivers and mountain lakes, vegetative and fauna, and also connected to them believes and legends, economic and cultural originality of the nation which earlier was nomadic and nowadays is settled – all these information is supposed to be covered in the report.
